Ultimate 3 Day Detox Diet Cleanse


A 3 day detox is a great way to boost your body and give you the kick-start that you need to start exercising and eating healthily.

Sometimes a detox can make a difference to your overall health and make you feel better for a long time.

Due to the simple nature of any calorie changes in your diet and lifestyle, weight loss will be inevitable due to the cleanse that will happen in your body.

During any clenses and detox’s you’ll lose excess fluid but this three day detox is designed to reset all your energy levels and boost your spirit, concentration and lifestyle to that new improved you!

The general idea behind the cleanse diet plan is to break up you daily pattern and give your body a new start, allowing it to repair tissues, muscles and flush anything excess that you’re body doesn’t need to give you ultimately more energy where it’s needed. In three days you’ll be a whole new person.

Some advice for the 3 day detox is to build up gradually if you’re not ready to do it straight away.

Try 1 detox day a week if you’re unsure, so your body will adapt, so when you’re ready to 3 days then you’ll feel energised and cleansed.

Some top tips to start your 3 day cleanse and detox in preparation is:

Try and Get More Rest through Sleep

Sleep is great for repairing the body and resting to give you more energy. Try and get an extra hour or so on top of what you usually do.

There are so many apps now which can point you in the right direction for how much sleep you’re getting. A good sleep can boost you’re energy levels. So try and aim for between 8-9 hours sleep for this 3 day detox.

Stop Eating Sugar. Limit What Sugar You’re Eating.

You’d be amazed how much sugar is pretty much in everything. The easiest way to cut down on sugar is prepare home cooked healthy meals as you know exactly what is going in to the food you’re eating.

Obvious sugar that can be cut out is biscuits, alcohol, chocolate, fizzy drinks. The calories in these sugar foods are adding up to your daily calorie intake and simply using substitutes to curb your craving. You’ll see dramatic effects.

You can control your sugar intake either before or when you have finished the detox. Try Stevia. This naturally sweet plant extract won’t spike insulin levels and will give you that sugary sweetness. Xylitol is also another sugar substitute.

Increase Your Protein Levels

Try to increase your protein levels by using a source of protein with every meal. This includes eggs, yogurts, chicken, turkey, low fat lean minced beef, chick peas.
As we get older our bodies burn calories differently.  We need to limit starchy carbs in replacement of leaner forms of calories to suit our changing daily needs.

Homemade Simple Meals

Before starting our 3 day detox plan. Start getting using to keeping your diet simple with easy to digest foods.

Example include porridge with berries and seeds for breakfast, sweet potato, tuna and chick pea salad for lunch. Lean meat or fish and steamed veggies at dinner.

Keep Hydrated Throughout the Day. Drink More Water.

Monitor how much you’re drinking.  Make sure that you’re drinking at least 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day.

This can be in the form of lemon with hot water as a hot drink alongside water. Ideally get yourself a water bottle with a measurement on the side and record how much water you’re consuming.

Exercise More. Increase Your Daily Exercise Levels

Any exercise is good for you. The problem is we are doing less, due to not being able to fit it in.

Part of the 3 day detox is doing exercise which is just what the body wants following a detox.

Exercise increases your metabolism to remove unwanted toxins from the body and use up energy which can also promote a good night sleep.

It doesn’t have to take that long either 5, 10, 20, 40 or 60 minutes of high-intensity workouts like HIIT workouts, running, cycling or yoga.
